Whincup Became the Most Successful Holden Driver in History

Jamie Whincup remained a leading championship contender throughout the disrupted 2020 Supercars season, beginning with victory in Adelaide. The result made him the most successful Holden driver in Supercars history, while he also celebrated his 500th championship start during the year.

Whincup claimed four victories, 14 podiums and six pole positions, but his Bathurst campaign alongside Craig Lowndes ended with a crash at The Cutting. He ultimately finished fourth in the championship, adding another competitive season to his remarkable Supercars career.
