Craig Lowndes’ 2021 season saw him continue his endurance role with Triple Eight, reuniting with Jamie Whincup for Whincup’s final Bathurst 1000 as a full-time Supercars driver. The experienced pairing remained competitive throughout the Great Race, finishing fourth at Mount Panorama.

The result added another strong Bathurst performance to Lowndes’ remarkable record and marked the final chapter of one of Supercars’ most successful driver partnerships. Even away from full-time competition, Lowndes continued to demonstrate the experience, race craft and composure that defined his career.
