Craig Lowndes 2016 Race Worn Suit

Sale price $3,450.00

105th Win & First Driver to Reach 600 Race Starts

Craig Lowndes’ 2016 season proved he remained one of Supercars’ leading competitors. In Triple Eight’s newly created third entry, he finished fourth in the championship, claiming victories at Perth and Queensland Raceway. His Queensland win was the 105th championship race victory of his career, while the season also saw him become the first driver to reach 600 championship starts.

Bathurst brought disappointment when a gearbox actuator issue cost Lowndes and Steven Richards several laps, eventually finishing 16th. Despite the setback, Lowndes ended the year with two victories, multiple podiums and another Fans’ Choice Award, reinforcing the experience, consistency and race craft that had made him one of the sport’s most enduring stars.
