Car 88 Spark Plug Frame Win on Debut

This spark plug came from one of the first engines built by Triple Eight Powertrains under its Ford Racing partnership, which commenced in 2026.

The engine made history on debut, delivering victory for Car 88 in the opening race of the 2026 Supercars Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park in February 2026 - Triple Eight’s first race back with Ford.

It went on to win Races 3 and 6 before its final outing in Race 7 at the Australian Grand Prix in March 2026. Soon after the start lights went out, Car 88 was involved in a heavy Turn 1 incident, ruling it out of the race.

Following that accident, the car was returned to Triple Eight headquarters where the decision was made to fully rebuild the engine.

This limited-edition release contains one of only eight original spark plugs from that engine - a rare piece of history from the beginning of Triple Eight’s latest Ford era.

This is an original spark plug from Boc Feeney's first Ford Mustang engines.  The frame is autographed.

As an authentic, race-used component, this piece may display marks, wear, damage or other imperfections consistent with its use in competition. These characteristics form part of its history and provenance.

Additional on-track and season imagery is included to provide context and illustrate the provenance and racing history of the piece.  Where applicable on-track imagery may show both left- and right-hand components.  Studio photography shows the actual item available for purchase.

The Display

This piece is presented on a custom Australian made quality timber frame with a UV stable backing board.  We have purposely eliminated the glass, designed to bring you even closer - allowing you to see, touch and experience a genuine piece of Australian motorsport.

Each piece features a unique 'Scan for Provenance' QR code, providing permanent access to its official story, race history and digital authentication directly from Triple Eight Race Engineering.
