A Record Breaking 19 Pole Positions

Feeney quickly established himself as the benchmark of the 2025 Supercars field. By the end of the Sprint Cup season, he had secured the Sprint Cup title and entered the inaugural Finals Series as the clear championship favourite.

But the introduction of the new Finals format transformed the championship battle. After months of building a substantial lead, the title chase was effectively reset and decided over the closing rounds, creating one of the most intense finishes in Supercars history. 

First lap contact combined with mechanical issues saw him fall agonisingly short of his maiden Supercars Championship in a controversial Adelaide Grand Final.

Although the title narrowly escaped him, Feeney's 2025 campaign was one of the finest in Supercars history. He finished with 14 race victories, 20 podiums and a record-breaking 19 pole positions, while also claiming the inaugural Repco Sprint Cup, the Barry Sheene Medal, the Jim Richards Award as Driver of the Season and the Boost Mobile Pole Position Award.
